Or, as I knew it, Another World. This indie demo is for a game called Concurrence, and while this particular section has been put together for a competition, a full game is in the works.
You play a man (Radiohead’s Thom Yorke, it seems) who wakes up on an alien planet and has to find out what the hell is going on. It combines platforming sections with adventure games mechanics, and while it looks a little rough (in its defence, it was made using Adventure Game Studio!), it also looks like it was made specifically to tug at the heartstrings of fans of Eric Chahi’s 1991 classic.
At the earliest the full game will be out at the end of this year, but you can play a short demo right now at the link below.
