E3 has seen a massive flurry of trailers, demos and game footage – but it seems as though, in the hustle and bustle of it all, we’ve forgotten about one of my most anticipated games of 2011, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Chances are you’ve seen the CGI trailer, but this game demo will most likely lay to rest any concerns you may have concerning the final chapter of Ezio’s trilogy.
Revelations appears to play similarly to Brotherhood, but adds a handful of new mechanics, as shown in the demo. What impresses me most, however, is the seamless way in which the team has adapted the game’s style to a bombastic, driven style of play. Obviously Assassin’s Creed is known for it’s wealth of detail in an open world, but it’s good to know that the game will step up the pace with spectacular set-pieces.
We can’t wait.
