Iwata Asks: Ocarina Of Time

Iwata Asks: Ocarina Of Time

This is almost as good as the commentary track on the Goonies DVD, when they got all of the original Goonies back as adults. Amazing! Satoru Iwata, in the latest Iwata Asks, managed to get a group of the original core Ocarina of Time design team to talk about the game’s development. Nostalgia – ACTIVATE!

Eiji Aonuma, of course, is there along with various other key members of the team.

Want to know where the name Navi came from? Or what the team couldn’t do with Ocarina of Time? Feel like drowning in a tsunami of nostalgia? This is the place for you.

Ocarina of Time 3D: Original Development Staff – Part 1 [Iwata Asks]

  • that was brilliant.
it makes me want to run out and buy a 3DS so i can play OoT again.
if they can make an OoT themed console i will get it in a second.
its crazy to hear that even up to the last couple months they really didnt know what the final product was going to be.
for something as monumental as OoT was thats just crazy.
us fans are waiting with baited breath and they must have been there panicing and hoping it was going to be greater than the sum of its parts.

i hope they do something like this for Majoras Mask, id like to hear the different thoughts involved in that.
