The first, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening will be available today for download from the recently launched 3DS eShop.

The game will be available as the first tile in the Game Boy colour Virtual Console lineup on the 3DS eShop. Miyamoto said the game would be available worldwide by the end of the day.

And I was just about to dig out my Gameboy Colour to give this game some love. Yay!

They promised it would be in 3D though, and this isn't.

So will the be available for AU store? Because I heard US only and i'm still to see it.

Its been almost a day since that announcement... where is it? Or are us Australians getting screwed over AGAIN?

Apparently the US has it NOW.
Sounds like we can twiddle our thumbs.

        *twiddles thumbs*

With an announcement like ' will be available world wide by the end of the day ' one would assume we will get it today. Unless of course Australia is somehow disconnected from the rest of the earth. But i think Nintendo au will stiff us and release it tomorrow with the weekly thursday vc update.

    it's available now!!

Available. $9... ouch. But purchased nonetheless.

I just hope the eshop gift cards go on sale occasionally (like iTunes ones), because paying more for this game than I did for Bad Company 2 on Steam doesn't seem right.
