When Katamari Damacy And Minecraft Collide

We got Kataminey Damacraft. Sure, the name isn’t that great, but this mod for the quirky cult-hit Minecraft based on the quirky cult-hit Katamari Damacy looks like a winner.

Bat Country Entertainment‘s Kataminey Damacraft does what you’d expect, if you’ve ever played a Katamari game in your life, rolling up the procedurally generated worlds of Minecraft into sticky, spherical shapes. There’s not King of Cosmos commanding you to roll up this many sand blocks or that many Olympic sized swimming pools. It’s just roll up some stuff fun – however, there is a scoring/combo system, to make it more than just mindless ball-making.

You may need a capable CPU to get the thing rolling, but it’s free, so why not slap it onto your copy of Minecraft?
