Sleeping can be fun – necessary even. But what if stuff happens when you’re sleeping – game stuff? What are you supposed to to do then? Thankfully we have a solution – While You Were Sleeping, a quick round up of all the news that happened… while you were sleeping.

Battlefield vs Call of Duty. EA vs Activision. It’s a contest that is starting to feel, in my mind, a little bit juvenile and ridiculous. Maybe I’m just getting too old for this shit. On Jimmy Fallon last week we got our first look at Battlefield on console – and it’s been confirmed that the game will run at 30 fps on consoles, but 60 fps on PC – depending on the strength of your rig of course.

Oh, and remember that rumour that Crytek UK had a next-generation Xbox development kit? Apparently that’s not true. Saw that one coming.

For some weird reason I really want a pair of these Super Mario Bros. shoes, apparently Vlad the Impaler is going to feature in the next Assassin’s Creed – excite!
