Aussie Nintendo Store - Pic a Winner

Well well well, I joked about it last week and now it's come true. Nintendo truly don't give two hoots about the Wii. There's absolutely nothing new for Wii owners this week, well just new episodes on the Kirby Channel, at least download that if you haven't got that already. 3DS and DSi owners, you get the following...

3DS Virtual Console Mario's Picross (Game Boy, Nintendo $6) - Nintendo expands the Game Boy Virtual Console by one more this week. If you haven't played a Picross game before, you owe it to yourself to pick it up. These picture crossword games never draw much attention but they're a real brain tester.

DSiWare Airport Mania: Non-Stop Flights (Lemon Team - $3/200 Points) - Seems like it was only a few weeks ago that we got the first iteration of this game on the eShop. Well, it was. So if you passed on that and are after some fun time management get this one over the first. They're both great though.

Videos There are new trailers up for the upcoming Kirby games on the Wii and the DS (in 2 naturally). There's also a 'trailer' up of the Zelda 25th Anniversary E3 2011 Orchestra performance from E3 2011. It sounds great.

Just a small note with the DSiWare prices. The first price listed is for the 3DS and the second price is the ye olde DSiWare points price.

So....still need a credit card for the eShop or not?

they should be releasing 4 times the content per week

Is this a separate Aussie store like the PSN? If it is it seems nintendo aren't the only ones as Sony are also absolutely hopeless with providing content...all this less for more money than other regions too! Beget so screwed down here...

Picross on DS was brilliant. I played that game for almost as long as Advance Wars.

Picking up Mario Picross as soon as I get home from work.

Still no sign of cards yet.

@Dateman We 'share' our store with the UK but have our own pricing and range (usually less because of Classification costs).

It's not a good sign when there's only one thing a week. They need the eShop original titles soon.

Another week, another dollar that stays in my wallet.

Sweet, yet again, nothing that I want. You think they'd come out and release some decent games to kick it off

    A chisel-simulator and a transport management game?

And they say video games aren't art.
    ;-)
