Tickets for Activision’s paintball-playing, Modern Warfare 3-sampling, fundraiser celebration of all things Call of Duty go on sale July 19, 10am.
Tickets for the two-day event will sell for $US150 with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to the Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit that helps returning veterans find employment.
The September 2 and 3 event will include recreations of two maps from the Call of Duty franchise, which players will be able to run through and shoot up with paintball games. There will also be a chance for people to check out Modern Warfare 3 and an on-site $US1 million tournament.
Call of Duty XP’s $US1 Million Operation will feature a 32-team, single-elimination tournament for $US1 million in cash and prizes. On September 3, one four-person team will win $US400,000 as the world’s premiere Call of Duty players.
To purchase tickets for the two day event you will need to provide your full name and info for each attendee. There is a two ticket limit. Attendees must be 18 years of age or older and bring a valid photo ID. Call of Duty XP will be filmed, and all attendees grant permission to include their likenesses, images and voices in any filming. Attendees voluntarily enter Call of Duty XP and assume all risk of injury. Attendees also understand that they may be required to sign a release to participate in certain events at Call of Duty XP.
