Sneak Peek At Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Comes To PS3 Early With Tekken Hybrid

PlayStation 3 owners will get a taste of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 this fall. A “Prologue” version of the arcade game will be included in the forthcoming Tekken Hybrid Blu-ray, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada revealed at Comic-Con today.

In addition to the CG animated feature Tekken: Blood Vengeance and the enhanced port Tekken Tag Tournament HD, Tekken Hybrid will include Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue, essentially a demo version of a game that was previously only announced for arcades.

The Tekken team showed off a brief teaser for TTT2 Prologue at Comic-Con today. Seen fighting were Tekken: Blood Vengeance stars Ling Xiaoyu and Alisa Boskonovitch, clothed in the costumes from the CG movie. The two girls battled Devil, a character currently not featured in the arcade version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2, but said to be added to the game later this year.

Harada said that Alisa and Xiaoyu would not be the only playable characters in Prologue, but did not elaborate further.
