This Concept Art Flies Right Into The Danger Zone

In 2008, publisher THQ shitcanned a project called Stormbirds, an aerial combat game that was looking to take on the likes of Ace Combat and HAWX.

While the game died, its surprisingly colourful art lives on, and today we’re looking at concept artist Stuart Jennett’s wonderful contributions.

Jennett, formerly a comics artist with Marvel, is now freelance after the closure of Juice games. Some other games he’s worked on, which you can see art for at the link below, include Afterburner and a ton of interesting unpublished titles, some with names, others without.

There’s also some great stuff in there for upcoming WW2 horror flick Panzer 88 which is definitely worth a look.
