Gosh, EB just ream you on trade ins.

On a separate note, Mass Effect is $29 brand new on PS3 at JB (not sure elsewhere). If no one has played this, you should.

    Awesome game.

Also good to point out EB is giving an extra +50% on trade-ins that go towards preorders. I traded in about 12 Xbox 360 games recently, Game and JB were giving close to $100 credit but EB gave about $200 credit towards preorders

Tip: Trade in your games at EB towards preorders for the extra 50% credit. Then come back the next day and just cancel your preorder.
They'll give you the full credit then and there to spend, including the extra 50% credit.

but there is nothing that I want to buy now!

According to three EB games i spoke to, they legally can't, they can only give you the original credit since the 50% is ONLY for pre-orders....

But if you found an EB that will do that, i really want to go shopping there cause i trading in $300 of games in past few weeks.

Just go the next day to another sales person. The way you pay for a preorder isn't recorded in the system, so unless they recognise you they won't know..

I put my money down for a few games in the future like Diablo 3

GAME are giving you 55% extra for your trade-ins against pre-orders!

I haven't traded a single game since January. I'm just hording at the moment and my collection is set to reach triple figures.

    I guess that's a good thing?

How do EB manage to stay in business? They give you the least for your games, and they sell games for the most.

You appear to have answered your own question there.

You just answered your own question.

Too bad the game store nearby closed down, i never saw anyone in it so i knew it would sooner or later. But i buy all my games over seas. Maybe i should buy some rating stickers and see if i can get away selling grey imports for profits at Eb/game. Umm wonder if someone tried this.

hey i want to buy "call of duty black ops" is that $15 in ebgames store. thank you!
