While You Were Sleeping

Sleeping can be fun – necessary even. But what if stuff happens when you’re sleeping – game stuff? What are you supposed to to do then? Thankfully we have a solution – While You Were Sleeping, a quick round up of all the news that happened… while you were sleeping.

So news broke on Friday that a domain by the name of sony-microsoft.com had been registered – which set all sorts of tongues wagging as to the reasons why. There was a fair bit of speculation – would we like to see Sony and Microsoft embark on some sort of joint venture, what would said venture be, and would a Sony-Microsoft console make sense? Anyways, as you would expect, it turned out to be a defensive domain hold by Microsoft – so nothing concrete yet!

Plenty of people got a bit shitty about the reveal of new Mass Effect 3 character James Vega – mainly because he had a faux-hawk. I though the outrage was a bit ridiculous, considering we knew nothing about the character. Now that we know a bit more, what do you guys think?

I think the guys at Metacritic have a great point about video game reviews, and Activision are trying their very best to nip the modernwarfare3.com domain issue in the bud!
