While You Were Sleeping

Sleeping can be fun - necessary even. But what if stuff happens when you're sleeping - game stuff? What are you supposed to to do then? Thankfully we have a solution - While You Were Sleeping, a quick round up of all the news that happened… while you were sleeping.

Battlefield 3. You may have heard of this game. It's coming out this year and folks are a little excited - hence articles like this one, a look at what Battlefield 3 needs to be as awesome as people want it to be!

Goldeneye 007 Reloaded is coming to the 360 and PS3 - you know, I feel like I'm too bitter and bored with remakes to care about this. I loved the original in a way I'm pretty sure is forbidden by the 10 commandments, but I think the time for me to get over excited about this has come and gone sadly.

We've also gotten news that The Darkness II has slipped into 2012, Bastion is out today and I can't wait to check it out, and Batman: Arkham City has a schmexy collector's edition.

In Short What Battlefield 3 Needs The Darkness II Slips From Crowded Fall To Early, Still Crowded, 2012 Goldeneye 007 Reloaded Is Real, Coming To PS3 And Xbox 360 Drool Over Bastion, A Throwback To The Glory Of Super Nintendo Batman: Arkham City Collector's Edition Is Gotham City's Greatest Treasure

Last night i had a 400mb+ download for my xbox dashboard, any it didnt seem to change anything, any idea what its about?

Not sure, I'm guessing it was a sort of pre-update before we get a major dash update. We are due for one, aren't we?

Australia better get voice support for kinect, coz its been a year!

I'm actually relieved that Darkness 2 has been pushed back, because the last quarter of this year is looking very crowded, and the Darkness is still on my pile of shame. I think I'm nearly done with it, I just need to sit down and crank out that last hour or so like I did with FEAR 1 and 2. Maybe I should make that a priority now that I've finished Shadows of the Damned. It will definitely take me less time to finish The Darkness than it will to finish Arkham Asylum or Crysis 2.

Also, I'm about as apathetic about Goldeneye as you, Mark. I wasn't excited about it on the Wii and I'm not excited about this. While I do kind of have an itch to play it again, I think it's best of that game is left in the nostalgia section of my brain where I can fondly recall hours upon hours of deathmatches at the house of the only one of my friends who had an N64.
