Who’d pass up a chance to own a full set of Yoshi armour in Super Mario World for a mere 200 SNES points?
Copious amounts of downloadable content might be the norm these days, but then we’ve grown used to it, having lived through Oblivion‘s horse armour and Capcom’s continuous costume packs. Taking a step back and imagining what could have been makes me feel a little silly about spending money to dress up my characters in colourful costumes.
