   Fair warning SCD is famous for being hard to emulate properly with all previous attempts having to drop effects to get it to work with varying degrees of success.

   That’s pretty cool news. This game was the reason I shelled out a ridiculous amount of money for a Mega CD. Totally worth it at the time.

   If you’re chasing Sega for information, want to find out what has happened to the standalone release of Space Channel 5 Part 2 for XBLA? I want to buy it but refuse to pay $30+ for a compilation disc where I don’t want to play any of the other games!

         Nope. Two reasons:
         – I already have it on Dreamcast (as well as Crazy Taxi and Bass Fishing, for that matter)
         – I played the XBLA demo and it was terrible

      The other disadvantage (which I found out the hard way) is that even if you install it to the hard drive on a 360, the games still run off the disk for some reason.

      Mind you, my copy came with the collector’s vinyl so I can’t complain.

      I wanna play Jet Set Radio – I had a DC but for whatever reason I was over it by the time this came out and eventually sold the DC and repurchased an N64!

   Sonic CD is totally worth it…. if it has the Japanese Soundtrack.

   I played it in the Sonic Gems collection on PS2 but got frustrated on some level near the end where I was chasing Robotnik and the screen was scrolling and if you couldn’t keep up you’d die.

   That game needed a spin dash.

   Sonic CD has the worst level design of any Sonic game, ever! I was totally disappointed when I finally got to play this, and Knuckles Chaotix for that matter, after years of hearing how great it was. Worst of all the original Sonic games, cant compare to Sonic 2/Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

    It better have the option of BOTH soundtracks. I’m not a fan at all of the US soundtrack, the Japanese/Euro is the one I grew up with, so it would be nice to have the option of choosing which one to listen too…

    I’d be getting this if I didn’t already have the Sonic Gems collection. Only shame is that that includes the US soundtrack, not the Japanese/European one.

    And is the PC version with loading screens (don’t remember them from the MegaCD version).

    What’s the betting that this is the PC version again, with loading screens and the US soundtrack…

    They better put in the Japanese/European soundtrack. Or at least give you the option to choose between the Japanese and the US one for those who like the US one.
