Kotaku Presents Two New Tracks From Jonathan Coulton’s Upcoming Album ‘Artificial Heart’

It’s our singular honoir to be the first to present two live cuts from the massively talented, massively bearded troubadour Jonathan Coulton’s upcoming album “Artificial Heart”. You may know Jonathan from his fan favorite songs “Skullcrusher Mountain”, “re: Your Brains”, “Code Monkey”, or—very likely around these parts—”Still Alive (GLaDOS’s Song)” and “Want You Gone (Love Theme from Portal 2)”.

Above, a live performance of “Good Morning, Tucson”, an uptempo missive from a morning news host whose life is as black and crumby as his coffee-soaked chocolate donuts gems. Hit the jump for two more live performances: “Alone at Home” (another new track from “Artificial Heart”) and “Want You Gone” (from Portal 2).

“Artificial Heart” — produced by John Flansburgh of They Might Be Giants! — will be released on September 2, 2011. Be sure to check out Jonathan’s website or follow him on Twitter for details.
