Kotaku readers, meet Durga. He’s the latest addition to Platinum Games and Sega’s Anarchy Reigns, a man with Wolverine hair, a tiger tail and the camouflage jumpsuit to match — oh, and a mechanical leg with a huge-ass gun.
Durga, a 31-year-old cyborg, is the newest ass-kicker confirmed for the 2012 title from Bayonetta and Madworld developer Platinum. His “Revolver Cannon” is a “cybernetic leg capable of transforming into a large revolver,” according to Sega. Even better, “it can be fired while kicking.” Handy! You’ll see plenty of kicking and knee-based killing in his character trailer above, with character art and screenshots following in the gallery.
Anarchy Reigns is due for a January release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
