New Elevator Action Inaction. Screens Don’t Move!

Hanging out in arcades in the 1980s, I adored playing Elevator Action. And that classic title is getting reborn on the PS3 as a downloadable title.

Here’s a look at the game’s screens. The title, which is being developed by Square Enix, is slightly different from the original, with new weapons like machine guns and lasers. The game also features much faster elevators and rope. Because you can never have too much rope.

There’s also offline multiplayer that supports up to four players. Elevator Action Deluxe hits the PSN on August 31 in Japan.
