Notch’s Wedding Means You Can Give A Free Minecraft To Your Soulmate

Minecraft creator Markus “Notch” Persson is getting married tomorrow (which may be today come to think of it. Anyway…) and in celebration of such, he’s giving out a free copy of the game to all who buy it.

The idea is to enjoy Minecraft and then give a code for the game to a very special someone to let them know how you really feel about them. Minecraft says “Darling, I want to spend eternity with you punching livestock and digging tunnels and creating giant contraptions that launch chickens and play the Super Mario theme, until Creepers do us part.” Or something.

In all seriousness, it’s a 2-for-1 sale celebrating Notch’s nuptials. Congratulations!
