On The 8th Day Atlus Gave Us A Good Reason To Buy Devil Survivor Again

With only one more day before the 3DS remaster of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor comes out, Atlus gives fans one more day to consider replaying one of the best role-playing games of 2009.

Asking fans to re-buy a role-playing game a mere two years since its initial release is a pretty tall order, even when that game is as good as Devil Survivor. As much as I loved the original release, full voice acting, 3D graphics, and remastered artwork will not syphon an additional $US39.99 from my pocket.

Throw in an entire new chapter to the end of the game, and I might just crumble.

Where the original game ended, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked features an entire extra day, bringing the already epic story to a rousing conclusion. The original conclusion? Not rousing enough. This one has exactly the right amount of rouse.

Still, it’s only been two years, and Devil Survivor 2 is coming out early next year. Should I, or shouldn’t I?
