At Last, A Twin Peaks Game For The Atari 2600

I’ll confess to knowing nothing about Twin Peaks, David Lynch’s cult hit surreal television mystery that lasted for two years but you’d think had a run twice as long as All in the Family the way people still talk about it. Anyway, someone has created an Atari 2600-style game based on the show, you can grab it for Mac or Windows PC.

The game is called Black Lodge, and was created by Jak Locke. It features a chiptune theme and synthesised voices, though I don’t recall any actual Atari 2600 games having that feature. The creator highly recommends you read the instruction manual before playing.

Says the creator:

You’ll find quickly that you’re not alone in the Black Lodge, though your friends are few and far between. Not only that, the lodge itself seems to be actively trying to trip you up at all times! You’ll be dodging chairs and crazed Lodge residents all while trying to keep your own insanity. How long can this go on?

No time to think of that now -here comes that doppelganger again. Just keep on running through the curtains or it will surely be curtains for you!
