Liberal Video Game Offers Chance To Slay Sarah Palin In Tea Party Zombies

In the aptly named Tea Party Zombies Must Die players get a chance to mow down a shambling horde of conservatives and Tea Party politicians while hanging out in a barricaded court yard decorated with over-the-top, anti-Obama slogans.

The online website game features fairly basic graphics depicting an ever increasing number of undead politicos ambling toward you with their arms outstretched. You start the game armed with just a crowbar, but as you progress through the game you get more weapons.

The first level of the game takes place in a first-person perspective, with players moving around a dark, gritty courtyard. The homes in the courtyard have signs propped against them showing Obama as a clown, or with slogans like “Obamacare Obamafaciscm” or “No Commie Socliasm” or “Obama Lies”. Another poster features a picture of Obama between pictures of Hitler and Lenin with the words “National Socialism”, “Democratic Socialism” and “Marxist Socialism” above the images.

In the second level you move to the front of the “Americans for Prosperity” headquarters. As you progress through the game, you’re given the choice to visit places like inside the Americans For Prosperity building, a trailer park or the Fox News Channel.

In between later levels, the game fills the screen with quotes. As you enter the Americans for Prosperity building, for instance, the game goes black and this quote from G. Monriot of The Guardian pops up:

“An Astroturf campaign is a fake grassroots movement; it purports to be a spontaneous uprising of concerned citizens, but in reality it is founded and funded by elite interests.”

I played about three levels into the game, finally succumbing to a wave of undead Newt Gingriches on the “Money Road” that connects the Americans for Prosperity to the Koch Industries, Inc. building.

When you die in the game the screen reads:

“You got teabagged!

P.S. You didn’t have health insurance, so you died.

P.P.S. There’s no such thing as god, so you died for eternity.”
