More Fallout For You. Check Out The New Lonesome Road Trailer

Here's the brand-new trailer for Lonesome Road the next big expansion to the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC epic Fallout: New Vegas.

In this one, publisher Bethesda summarises : " You are contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of Fallout: New Vegas. Ulysses promises the answer as to why he didn't take the job, but only if you make one last journey into the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms."

You'll have to part with $US10 to play this. Starting September 20 on Xbox 360, later on the other two platforms.

I'm looking forward to finally putting this title to rest. Great game.

Oh so Bethesda continues to bite the pillow and take it from Xbox only to turn around and swallow too.

Also please correct the pricing it will be $10 for a few seconds before being price corrected for us in Aus even though there is no justifiable reason for the price hike.

The DLC is out for Xbox before everything else, therefore Microsoft MUST be paying Bethesda tonnes of cash... Nice tin foil hat, jackass. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact creating content for PC takes a fuckload longer anyway due to the crazy amount of setups that need to be supported.

(I don't own an Xbox, but I don't get butthurt due to having to wait for things.)

You are so very, very wrong. Bethesda's plugin system is, for the most part, a cross-platform affair. Simple fact of the matter is that Microsoft is paying them for timed exclusivity. Guess what? It's not a conspiracy theory. It's a practise in the industry that comes from all players.

So long as that fat timed exclusivity cheque goes into further DLC development each time, or in this case Skyrim, I'm okay with that.

The pricing issue is another thing entirely of course.

The heck is this on about? Bethesda announced before the release of Honest Hearts that all DLC from thereon would be released simultaneously for all consoles. Did this author read up on their facts first?

Is FO:NV playable yet? I stopped after about 70 hours (I'm dedicated) cause I just couldn't deal with the bugs any more.

Absolutely - they've released about 600mbs worth of patches at this point, the game is just as stable, if not more so, than Fallout 3 now.

    I love their logic.

Rush out a buggy game, then pepper us with DLC.

If they'd released a finished game, I wouldn't have traded it, meaning another person would have had to buy a copy.

I also would have paid $50+ for the DLC.

But, since they didn't, they probably made a 3rd of what they could have off me. Boggles the mind.

great game and this dlc looks greaty

MrBS u r a kcid <- such a great game u can not possibly put to rest and i will b carrying the aussie flag down the lonesom road ftw yehaa
