Smooth Textures

Each week throws off several new video game lists ranging from the humorous to the trivial. What's better? A list of those. Here's a roundup of the rundowns out there.

Ten Games With the Best Textures This Generation [Gaming Bolt]

Top 15 Multiplayer Maps of All Time [Maximum PC]Not one map from Team Fortress 2 on here.

Fourteen Most Badass Video Game Power Suits [Maxim]Gundam? Ain't on this list. I would have gone with the Tesla armour instead of Fallout's T-51. Yes, the Spartan MJOLNIR armour is on here. No, Commander Shepard's getup is not.

Top 10 Similarities Between Max Payne 3 and Man on Fire. [CinemaBlend]Wait, so, you're telling me that a game about a down-and-out alcoholic anti-hero with a dark past isn't entirely original?

Seven Great Franchises That Never Got a Decent Video Game [The Smoking Jacket/Playboy (NSFW)]I'd add Tron to this list, though Discs of Tron and the original arcade game were quite good for their time. Watch out for some of the links on this page.

Umm... pretty sure there is a TF2 map on that Multiplayer map link. It's only 2Fort though, so not many people would have heard of it.

Did you even read the "Top 15 Multiplayer Maps of All Time"... 2Fort from Team Fortress 2 is number 7. :D

The 'best textures' list is rubbish, mirrors edge, seriously? They had incredibly simple diffuse maps, which looked good because of some decent normal maps, but nothing amazing - what mirrors edge has is a great aesthetic, not great textures.

Whats with all of these sites that make you click to see every item? cant they just put it on one page. I stopped looking/cbf

overgrown as a COD4 'greatest' map should of been mp_strike.

Because they get page hits the more people click to see the next entry = more ad revenue. This is why these sites love list articles.
