What’s Coming To PlayStation Move

Remember that PlayStation Move controller you bought last year? Well, they’re still making games for it! Resistance 3, for example, is fully playable with PlayStation Move and that just came out.

And to serve as a reminder that Sony’s motion controller is still very much a thing, today the company laid out its Move plans for coming months. There, at the very least, a handful of games still coming out for the thing from the people who make the PlayStation 3.

In North America, expect the following PlayStation Move games, with selected quotes from Sony Computer Entertainment America explaining why you might want to finally pick up a Move controller.

  • LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack: “Rise of the Cakeling” ($9.99)– Out Now

“…in which a rogue cake threatens doom and destruction, and you Sackfolk must once again attempt to restore peace to Craftworld. This time though you’ll have a brand new toy to make things easier, The Brain Crane-a new power up that allows you to control objects with the power of your mind. There is also a new suite of powerful gadgets for use with PlayStation Move allowing players to create their own PlayStation Move games, record fluid motions, and paint their own stickers, while a boatload of new stickers, materials, decorations, costumes, music, sound and sequencer objects will vastly broaden your creative palette, and make your Popit burst at the seams.”

  • Everybody Dance — October 18

“…a high-energy dance experience set to a soundtrack of 40 chart-topping party hits including “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO, “Rude Boy” by Rihanna and “Barbra Streisand” by Duck Sauce.”

  • inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood – October 25 ($14.99)

“Bitten by a vampire, our hero has only one night to find and destroy her-before he and New Marais succumb to the infection. Taking place within the inFAMOUS 2 universe, the brand new adventure introduces new enemies and re-imagines New Marais into a darker, gritty city, with new dangers lying in wait.”

  • Carnival Island — November 15

“…invites you to take a trip to a magic carnival and experience the joy of classic family-friendly fun with 35 carnival attractions.”

  • EyePet & Friends — November 15

  • Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest — November 15

“From the same team that brought you Sports Champions… Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest combines sword fighting, archery and throwing stars in a playful action-adventure!”

By the way, GameStop is blowing out PlayStation Move controllers, accessories, games and the like right now for super cheap. It may not instill much confidence in the future health of Move, but a deal’s a deal… right?
