Play Dirty Games On Your PS3

Like really dirty games. You know, porn. Online retailer BD-Game is selling Blu-ray versions of adult PC games, meaning that the PS3 can play them.

The adult games offered are hardcore. They include chesty sister wifey game Shimai Tsuma, the stomach churning Lolita-at-home title Hajimete no Orusuban, inevitable tentacle game Inda no Hime Kishi no Jeanne, maid punishment game Oshioki Sweetie + Sweets!! and another Lolita title Sayonara wo Oshiete: comment te dire adieu.

The first PC game BD-Game is releasing on Blu-ray later this month, Kanon, is actually a standout title. It’s a good yarn and not nearly as sleazy or unsettling as some of the other titles.

These PC titles are not approved by Sony. Since they are Blu-ray, and not actual PS3 games, they don’t have to be. They work using basic Blu-ray menu functions to select in-game choices and progress through the story.

As previously mentioned, Kanon will be out this month (October 28). The Blu-ray version is priced at ¥3800 ($50). That same day, Shimai Tsuma will also be released — also for ¥3800.

The following months will bring future BD-Game releases to PS3 consoles and Blu-ray players.

And if you’re not satisfied playing dirty Blu-ray games on your PS3 or Blu-ray player, you can always watch dirty movies. They’re widely available on Blu-ray.

  • I remember when Hirameki went and butchered a bunch of visual novels by releasing them in such a format.
I also remember how poorly received that awful format was, and how Hirameki went out of business.

What I’m getting at here is that playing a visual novel as an interactive DVD/BD is a terrible idea.

    • Since Bluray supports Java, wouldn’t it be possible (easily) to have very very good and fast support for visual novels in this format? I think I can see why it would have failed for DVD; but I imagine it could be done somewhat “perfectly” for Bluray…

    • The DVD-PG format was really more a Jp market thing.

Mainly because most anime/gaming/eroge fans would more often than not already have DVD Players or a PS2 anyway so it was a much more cheaper/accesible version.

  • I played Kanon and Clannad on PC. Those 2 games have definitely the best romance story in any games or books I have ever read.
    Truly touching.

  • Not really surprising.

DVD-PG (and the lesser known UMD-PG, yes thats right you can play eroge on your PSP as well =P) has been around fer ages now and was used as an alternative to play eroge on DVD players/PS2. Was fairly sure BD-PG titles have been out in Jp fer a while now..
