Community Kudos

I hate to distract you from all the Skyrim everyone seems to be playing, but it's Friday afternoon and you know what that means... MOAR SKYRIM.

(I mean -- Community Kudos).

I have to admit that, sadly, I've been so slack in keeping up with Community shenanigans this week. Stupid street breaks. Stupid Modern Warfare 3 and Skyrim coming out in the same week. Who do these games think they are? Stuff I should be writing about? Pfft.

So yeah, apologies if I've missed anything or anyone. Let me know in the comments below and I'll try and update later!

Less noms that usual this week, which will probably make this the shortest Community Kudos in a while, so I'll kick off with a few shout outs of my own.

First -- Happy Birthday to Chuloopa's Dad. Chuloopa Senior turns 50 today, and I totally remember the time he was on the radio during St Patricks Day. Hope your Dad has a good one mate!

Thanks again to Dr What and Harli for being incredible organisers in the community -- that's just in general. People like you are the best.

Thanks to FatShady for continuing to manage the whole Minecraft server stuff, giving our community somewhere to mess around and build enormous... 'things'. I haven't dropped by in a while, I'll totally have to rectify that.

Now, onto the noms!

This week marked the first week in eons where the Strange nominations actually didn't go directly to my junk email. Hurray! Strange nominated heaps of people -- Notorious R for giving her this poster, Dr What and Effluvium Boy for religiously replying to her posts on TAY. That may not sound like much, but when you have a zillion pages to trawl through, that can be difficult!

Jamesmacusedmyhandle -- it's been a while since I've heard from him, but he nommed Shane for giving some of the TAYbies a copy of his Graphic Novel. It's awesome that we have a published Graphic Novelist in our midst, also awesome that he's willing to give away copies of his work for free! He also gave Jamesmacusedmyhandle a copy of Too Human.

Last noms come from Steve-O -- gave a 'cheeky' nomination to Harli, because she totally lost to him at DOTA and bowling! Oh -- controversial!

Anyways -- this weeks winner is SHANE! And that's final! Thanks for reading and have a great weekend everyone!

Also, Shane's spawnling no longer has a tail. So it's a particularly good day for him.

    Well done.

looks like everyones playing skyrim... :)

Onya guys! (or "ontario guys" like my phone suggested?!)

I've been promoted from Spam, yay!

Congrats Shane, bet the Kudos prize can never be as awesome as the gift your daughter gave you today though. ;)

      ONYA SHAAAAANE

        /awkward reply

Original reply was going to be "Well, let's not get too excited. Depends on what Josephine sends him. Dem Vidja gaems are pretty cool, you know", but I thought that would kind of say the joy of parenthood wasn't very great, instead of coming off as over emphasising "GAEMS".

        True story.

    Congrats Shane!!
Clarification : Mark speed reads emails!!!! I said Shane gave us all a DISCOUNT on his book. The game was a giveaway considering the cost of the book Shane ;)

    Nice work Shane!

Also, congrats about your offspring's tail. Better for it to fall off now than for this to happen!

    Nice job Shane!

I guess you could say your win isn't...

Congrats to Shane and all, but all I am seeing in this article is the word "nom".
