Customiser Fixes The Biggest Problem With Skylanders Toys

While the plastic characters Toys For Bob created to populate the world of Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure are certainly cute, colourful, and well-made, zero points of articulation makes them less action figure, more tiny statue. Action figure customizer supreme Jin Saotome brings four Skylanders to life in a whole new way.

With a steady hand and an eye for toy mechanics, Jin has managed to transform Prism Break, Drobot, Chop Chop, and Hex from toys you look at to toys you play with, capable of posing both on and off of their elemental stands. While I’m quite fond of the collection I’ve amassed thus far, thanks to Jin’s work I’ll never look at them the same again. Move, damn you!

Check out Jin’s page for more shouts of the fab four, as well as examples of some of the wonderful things he’s done with other toy lines.
