For $850, You Can Make Halo Movies Like This

There are tonnes of Halo fan films. Tonnes. Here's another, but what sets it apart is how the filmmakers were able to squeeze blood from stones. Shot for only $US850, Halo: Faith is a short film that was born out of an "simple conversation" between filmmakers back in October 2010.

The effects aren't as good as in a big Halo production, but big Hollywood productions cost a bajillion times more than this.

And I quite like the narrator.

I am sick of how all these fan films always has some uber young guy with a dodgey 5-o'clock shadow trying to seem older. It can't be that hard to find some older to do what was a 20second shot. Or use a bit of make up slick hair back and do your tie up and you'll look older and not like a hippie.
