The Colourful, Robotic Art Of Killzone 3

It’s funny, considering Killzone 2 was so bleak, Killzone 3 remains one of, if not the best-looking game on the PS3, an explosion of vibrant colours and, amazingly given the franchise, style.

Part of that is thanks to the guys at art studio Karakter, who we’ve featured here before, but it’s also down to the work of Miguel Angel Martinez Monje, the principal concept artist at Killzone developers Guerilla Games.

Monje has been involved with the franchise since 2004, and since then has been a big player in determining the series’ trademark look.

You can see his Killzone 3 work below, while his personal site has examples from previous games in the series.

Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists.
