This Is How Our Copy Of The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword Begins

The mailman may have squashed our copy of the Wii's new Zelda game, but that doesn't appear to have impacted the quality of the game's intro. Fresh from Nintendo to our Wii here at Kotaku, behold the first few minutes of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (up until we get control of Link).

If you click though this gallery, you'll also see the non-gameplay storyline movie that plays the first time you put the game disc into the Wii along with some pics of our damaged delivery and the contents inside it.

Skyward Sword boot-up video. This sets up the legend.

The mailman crushed the box containing our copy of Zelda. Thank goodness for plastic DVD cases!

It really does, doesn't it? xD

      ...I also still want one.

Seriously who puts the cover on their remotes. Hell I don't even have the silly strap.

Yeah. I've never had one, and wouldn't use it if I were given one. I'm guessing nintendo asks journalists to always make the wiimote wear its condom in photos or something.

I get goosebumps just listening to that opening music

    Skyward sword, U R MINE!!!

    HNNNGNGG!

I should get onto pre-ordering this...

one of the zelda games i look forward to + music + golden remote (sadly no golden nunchucks and gold strap strap)... ..... why not? !!! =]

"A legend that will be formed with your own hamd." Now that sounds awesome.
