Uncharted 3 Ships 3.8 Million Units On Launch day

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception has shipped 3.8 million units worldwide on its launch day, making it the highest-selling game in the series so far.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe revealed the sale figures and said that the numbers reflect how huge the game has become.

Nick Caplin, head of communications at SCEE, said: “Consumers are clearly as eager to play the game as critics were to heap praise upon it, and the team at Naughty Dog deserve this fantastic reception at retail.”

While the numbers of copies shipped is incredibly impressive, Uncharted 3 still trails behind Modern Warfare 3’s estimated 10 million units shipped on launch day.
