   I’m already in withdrawal. Uncharted 4 most likely will be on the next gen consoles too, judging by the two year or so development cycle. Good excuse to get a PS4. 😀

      I am handling my withdrawal by doing treasure runs (admittedly with the aid of a guide) on both the first two titles. What a fantastic series of games. Though having played a lot of all three in the past few days I would say that the 2nd one is the stand out. But really that’s like picking the best player from the Geelong midfield. Superstars all.

         I find it impossible to rank ’em. Each game has something unique that sets it apart. Uncharted 2 had some insanely iconic action set pieces, though. Gonna put a bit of distance between playthroughs and eventually replay them all back-to-back.

   So is “shipped” and “sold” the same now? I can remember that a distinction used to be made, with shipped being what goes to retailers and sold being what is actually purchased by consumers.

   Same deal with Arkham City a few weeks ago. WB said shipped and nothing on units sold.

      Yeah, this is shipped to retailers… but in saying that, it can be argued that Sony have in fact sold 3.8M copies… to retailers.

      How many the consumers picked up is another question, but early reports are showing that most territories are selling better than UC2 in it’s first day/week.

   The second one sold pretty darn well for a Playstation title. Who knows maybe this game will eclipse MGS4 and GT5 in overall sales figures.

      It won’t pass GT5, there is no chance of that happening, GT5 is a beast and just keeps going.

      UC2 is supposedly up near the 5M mark in lifetime sales, UC3 will pass that over time and certainly would place it as Sony’s 2nd biggest franchise at this moment.

   UC3 is only on ps3
   MW3 is on ps3, xbox360 and Pc

   Hmmmm…not a fair comparison really
