Adventure? Hardcore Pornography? A Jedi Cares Not For These Things


A Jedi might not care about the sins of the flesh, but Google certainly does, replacing the still for a developer diary with a steamy porn thumbnail in the search results for Star Wars: The Old Republic.

While it might have changed in the time between the writing and publication of this post, the Google search results for SWTOR.com did indeed come up with the offensive video thumbnail you see above when I submitted the query earlier today at the behest of reader Florian. The offending image even popped up with SafeSearch turned set to moderate, so hey, you can see it at work. Don’t say I’ve never given you anything.

Why does this happen? I like to think it’s the magic of the internet trying to make me smile.

It worked.
