Aussie Nintendo Store – More Than One Game!

I’m not even kidding this week, we actually have more than one game on a variety of platforms. New and old games too! It’s just like it should be! Let’s take a look; we’ve got a lot to get through.

3DS Original Software
Zen Pinball 3D (Zen Studios; $7.50) – When you think about it, the 3DS is a great platform for pinball games. Zen Studios thinks so too and has brought out the first pinball game to the Nintendo 3DS. The game even comes complete with online leaderboards and you’re able to challenge your mates as well.

3DS Virtual Console
Lock ‘n Chase (Game Boy, $4.50) – I’d never actually heard of this one myself, so I had to look it up. You know as much about it as I do. However, it’s a puzzler, it’s in a maze and that’s about it.

DSiWare
Castle Conqueror – Revolution (CIRCLE Entertainment; 500 Points) – I’ve been writing these updates for years now (no, really) and for the life of me I can’t remember another game in this series ever coming out here. However, perhaps I should have been paying attention as the US media says it’s a pretty good RTS on the DSi. A genre well underrepresented considering that whole “touch screen” thing.

WiiWare
Gnomz (QubicGames, 500 Points) – It took a while to get there, but it’s now only 500 Points as opposed to 1000 Points. It’s style is unique but the game is a crazy mash-up of the very illegal Super Mario War and the Super Smash Bros. series. But with gnomes. Don’t worry about the “Z” either; it’s got nothing to do with any Ubisoft title.

So you’ve got a good choice this week Nintendo fans; that or you could just pick up Mario Kart 7 and be done with it. But remember, there is some great stuff out there on the Nintendo downloads, and luckily you got me to remind you about it.
