Australian Girl Pulls Off Fantastic Cover Of Skyrim's 'The Dragonborn Comes'

Bloody Skyrim. I'm a bit over it now. Rushed through the main quest too quickly and now I'm stuck with a crappy level 16 character way out of his depth. I think I'll calm my frayed Skyrim nerves by listening to this cover of a song featured in Skyrim. Yeah, that'll make me feel much better.

Skyrim.

Skyrim.

Skyrim.

Skyrim.

[Falls asleep dreaming of Skyrim.]

But seriously, this girl has an incredible voice. Well worth listening to.

Now to go and bloody grind! I've ruined this game for myself!

Thanks Vitas!

Oh Mark, not the main quest. I forgot there was one until it suddenly occurred to me that was why I kept getting hammered by dragons.

    I enjoyed this.

I have the opposite problem. I explored too many caves and ignored the main quest for too long, now half the places it tells me to go to I've already been and done.

I have the same thing. "Not that place again!" It's occasionally been handy. There's a vampire den near Morthal that, if you clear it once, ends up empty but for the "boss" when you get the quest there. If you got the boss with all the guys who were in that room originally it would be quite the pain...

Can I ask why completing the Main Quest first is such a bad idea? It's what I'm doing... =/

They all seem like side quests. Which is the main quest, going and seeing the grey beards to learn dragon shouts?

It depends on if your a completionist or not. Most people will get sick of the game before they finish all the major quest lines. Traditionally, the main quests in the Elder Scrolls have been pretty lousy in comparison to the guild quests, so for most people, doing the interesting guild quests is probably the better strategy.

I found that handling the dragons was a hell of a lot easier by power-leveling my character during the side-quests first. I think I was up to about level 60 before I even slew the first dragon, and what followed was a breeze. Prior, I tried the main quest first and resembled a charcoal briquette before I'd met the second Blade

    Main quest? That old chestnut?

My level 34 destructo-mage (only just taking my Destructy talents to the expert level) has only recently gotten back into the main storyline. Ran across half the map with Linda Carter to kill a dragon. Was a tad too easy. I'll go back to the story incrementally... in between looting caves and amassing more gold than you're average banking magnate.

    Life's good :P

    Beautiful :) Absolutely beautiful :)

Can't wait to sit down and get back into Skyrim. :3 Damn you work commitments :/

I used to be able to sing like you but then i took an arrow to the knee...
No jokes aside that was pretty awesome, she's got a great voice.

    Wow! That was really wicked

I enjoyed the one by Malukah more, but this is lovely.

Thank you, I have been looking for that.

Sort of on topic: I found the lyrics in this just embarrassing for the composer and developers. I know they were going for the whole bard/minstrel thing, but its just such a fail, especially when you have Dandelion in the Witcher series showing how it should be done.

The only good writer at Bethesda is whoever does the in-game books. It's their biggest failing.

    Play METALLICA!!!

Why would anyone cover such a terrible song?

It's really good, but it would be nice if she covered Malukahs version which after hearing is the only version that sounds correct.

She just made it absolutely brilliant by adding that extra verse.

Though this chick is awesome too, it just doesn't feel finished without that last verse anymore....
