Club Nintendo Calendar Invents A New Month

Announced this summer, Club Nintendo’s gifts were customarily dumped on, then turned out to be not that bad. For the platinum level, anyway. Elite level members had to settle for a desk calendar. And one containing a new month, between October and December, named “Nobember.”

Whoops. Nintendo has noticed the goof and in an email to members today, vowed to correct it. The error appears on the year-view calendar insert.

Club Nintendo’s calendar had a goof, misspelling November on the year-view card. It’ll give a free replacement to all who ask. “We’re really embarrassed and apologise for this oversight; we always want our rewards and gifts to be special,” Nintendo said. The company has offered a replacement card but, “In the interest of saving paper, we thought it better to ask if you want a replacement before automatically sending.”
