From The Makers Of Tenchu, Shinobido 2 Sneaks On PlayStation Vita’s Launch

Sony’s latest handheld just debuted to long lines in Japan and Kotaku’s own Brian Ashcraft will be reviewing it in very soon. Part of the launch portfolio for the Vita includes Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen, the latest game from dev studio Acquire. Like Acquire’s Way of the Samurai and Tenchu series, this game’s set in feudal Japan and features a shadow warrior out for revenge after the death of his partner. The trailer above shows off the requisite acrobatics and sneaking, but I’m most intrigued by the hang-glider contraption that shows up at the end of the clip. If Shinobido 2 recaptures the moody stealth and explosive gory kills of the best Tenchu games, I’ll be eagerly awaiting its arrival. Namco Bandai’s releasing the game in the North American territory and Shinobido 2 will hit the Vita on the system’s 2-22-12 launch day.
