Help This Man Make LEGO Zelda A Reality

Back in the mists of time, before man walked the internet, I wrote a story about a LEGO Zelda movie a guy made. It was pretty great!

So imagine my surprise when, over the weekend, the film's creator Michael Inglis got in touch to let us know that he's now taking the idea of LEGO Zelda a little more seriously. No doubt inspired by Minecraft's recent push using the CUUSOO program, Michael wants Zelda LEGO. Official Zelda LEGO.

While he's been printing off his own Zelda LEGO accessories for a while now, thanks to the wonders of 3D printing, he still has "a strong desire to see an official LEGO version of the franchise", and feels "it would surely only do both the series and it's fans justice if Nintendo and The LEGO Company were to release such a desirable LEGO theme."

Does he have a snowball's chance in Hell? Probably not. But it wouldn't hurt to click "Support" on his page anyway, because those little Zelda LEGO swords look awesome.

LEGO Legend of Zelda [LEGO]

-1 Lego continues to get cooler now I'm not a kid. F this

I still collect LEGO, Mega Bloks and other LEGO-ish brands, mainly just video game related:
      *Prince of Persia
      and also Doctor Who
However I don't open them so to keep their value.

    All of those pictures

I will tell people to support and will supply money, but please dont tell me to sign up to something -_-

ew. No. Zelda deserves more then some lame Lego style game.

      shut your whore mouth.

OT: As much as I would love nothing more than to see this... It won't happen. At least, not through this avenue. As I understand it, the idea you put forward has to be YOUR OWN, which worked for Minecraft as it was Mojang themselves who put it on the CUUSOO page. Unless Nintendo themselves submit it, it won't have much traction...

Also, why stop at Zelda? Where's my LEGO Mario Bros.? And Samus? Heck, LEGO Animal Crossing would rule so hard.

Nintendo did a couple years ago license Pokemon to Mega Bloks and they made a couple sets:

They were released in the US, UK, Australia and Japan.

Very unlikely to happen, if not impossible. LEGO simply does not do toy adaptations of video games, because why would you promote what amounts to a competing product, especially one which is already a massive risk to the viability of your industry? The closest thing to an exception is Prince of Persia, and that was explicitly based on the film to begin with, not the games (and was regardless a really strange choice). For that matter, I would not expect the Minecraft thing to become a reality either; all the Cuusoo process means is that it's being considered for viability, and LEGO probably only made a big deal out of it because it's the first Cuusoo submission to meet that consideration criteria since its international launch.

also ahahahahahaha lol Mega Bloks, who even buys that cheap nasty knockoff shit
