   Jeez, you weren’t wrong about the “PRE-ORDER OUR GAME IT WILL BE AWESOME AND WILL GIVE YOU HEAPS OF NEAR-WORTHLESS COSTUMES FOR AN AVATAR THAT YOU ONLY GLANCE AT BEFORE YOU OPEN THE GAME!”

   Having said that, the combat is looking cool.

   I played ME3 at the EB Games Expo, and I was kinda disappointed. Mass Effect 2 was a huge step up from Mass Effect 1 in terms of combat, but ME3 is basically the exact same game as ME2. Don’t expect anything revolutionary with this one, it’ll be just like Dragon Age 2 was.

      ME2s “upgraded” combat was horrible and made ME2 dodgy and like some lame shooter. ME1 combat was perfect for the rpg it was until they butchered it. ME3 unfortunately seems to be going the same way as ME2. very disappointing.

   Ergh. Blue ring around the turret? I much preferred not having the screen look like an HUD.

   I thought the weapon combat in ME2 was superb, better than GoW3 IMO, especially with the various heavy weapons like the black hole gun and nuke launcher.

   I am going to be disappointed if Shepard doesn’t say “Sentry going up” when you deploy a turret. Also, I want Grunt to run around going “Pootis”, and Mordin to spam “Need a dispenser here.”

   I’m still skeptical of ME3 after the EB Expo demo but I guess time will tell if it really has made combat more interesting than the last two games.
