Oracina Of Time's Forest Temple And Zora's River Remade In Minecraft

We've seen so many things remade in Minecraft over the past year or so, but this one is still worth sharing. YouTube user RedAshMason had gone ahead and made Zora's River, The Forest Temple, and even a fair bit of Hyrule Field as originally seen in the famous Legend of Zelda game Ocarina of Time.

I'll admit that the music does a fair amount of the heavy lifting here — seeing the Forest Temple while listening to that lovely, Holst-inspired (thanks, Dan Bruno) "Saria's Song" does a lot to complete the recreation. But still, these levels are very cool, and make me want to put down all these Mario games and go back to Ocarina of Time 3D.

Here's the second video, which is of the Forest Temple map:

Wonder if he'll ever make the Water Temple? [Insert Water Temple joke here.]

You mean Ocarina Of Time, right?

Shh! Do you want to get sued?

        Hahah, nice Simpsons quote.

Omg, why hasn't anyone done this earlier?

To some degree they have. The Zelda Universe Minecraft server intermittently works on a recreation of OoT's Hyrule. They've done the Deku Tree, Kokiri Forest, much of Hyrule Field, Castle Market Town (including Temple of Time and part of the area in front of the castle), Lost Woods, Sacred Forest Meadow, and I think they've done some of Kakariko Village too.

Awesome dude! will have to check it out

    lol ORAcina

this makes me feel less bad about the hours I spend in skyrim.
