Play Cobalt, A Platformer Published By Mojang

Cobalt, the action game of “running, jumping, rolling, shooting, throwing, dancing, hacking, rolling, flying, sliding, climbing, looting, deflecting, racing, piñata-ing, passing, scoring… and even more rolling!” is now available in Alpha, developers Mojang and Oxeye tell Kotaku.

The game is still under heavy development, but as with Minecraft, willing gamers can pick the game up now at a discounted price and be guaranteed the final version at no additional charge. The full game is expected to sell for about $US26. The current price is about $US13.

Cobalt is Mojang’s second game published and the first third-party developed game they’re behind. In releasing this game, the company is also creating a unified Mojang account.

OK, enough with that. Go play Cobalt.
