I like Tom Bissell’s writing — I like it when smart people who aren’t too ingrained in gaming culture come in from their own sphere to comment on games. There has been a bit a shitstorm regarding a certain joke in one of Bissell’s recent pieces, a joke about how women don’t play Skyrim. I almost feel like it bothered me, personally, because I think someone like Bissell should know better.
And turns out he does know better — as he’s apologised, on Kotaku no less.
