While You Were Sleeping

You fell asleep. Stuff happened. Therein lies the problem: what if you need to know about the stuff that happened? That’s where we come in. Helping you digest the stuff that occurred, while you were sleeping.

Last night was undoubtedly the night of DLC announcements. Normally I’m not a massive consumer of downloadable content, but there has been a few that have tickled my fancy — namely the new Alan Wake effort. Now we’ve gotten word that the first Modern Warfare 3 DLC is on its way and will be released in January. Also — we take a look inside Batman’s HQ in the latest Arkham City DLC.

You may have heard of SOPA — it’s primarily the work of ignorant politicians with their collective heart in the right place attempting to filter the internet in a completely nonsensical manner. Apparently the hearings have been delayed until 2012, which can only be a good thing in my personal opinion.

Is Star Wars: The Old Republic a direct attack on Activision Blizzard and World of Warcraft? The Wall Street Journal certainly thinks so. And Team Fortress has moved on from hats to wedding rings — presumably to help facilitate all those great feel-good ‘we got engaged in TF2 stories’.
