Space-Kraken And Evil Twins: All In A Day’s Work For Kid Icarus

Yesterday, I had a chance to play a whole bunch of Kid Icarus: Uprising, the upcoming shoot-em-up for Nintendo’s 3DS handheld. My impressions are here.

In this trailer, you’ll get a sense of the fast-paced combat from the game, with protagonist Pit facing off against a Space-Kraken, Space-Pirates, and even the “dark” version of himself.

You’ll also get a taste of the goofy, endearing/annoying banter and voice-acting that runs through the game. While this footage is in 2D, rest assured that it looks good in 3D and particularly good on the 3DS’ screen.
