You Cannot Top The New Pac-Man World Record

I am sure you have Pac-Man skills. We all do. I’m sure you’re good at turning the corners of getting Inky, Blinky & Clyde to trail you just as you’re approaching the power pellet.

But I doubt you can break the new Pac-Man world record of one Dave Race of Ohio, who has cleared a perfect game of Pac-Man (yes, there is such a thing), in 3 hours, 33 minutes and 12.69 seconds. He did it on January 4, according to a video uploaded to RecordKeeper.com.

The new mark obliterates Race’s old one by 55.31 seconds.

A perfect Pac-Man game involves achieving the score of 3,333,360 in the game’s 255th level, after which the game crashes. You can watch Race’s run at the RecordKeeper site. It may not be fun to watch, but it is charming to hear the world champ groan and cheer himself on, while a dog occasionally barks in the background.
