BandFuse: Rock Legends Announced As 2008 Calls, Wants Its Game Back

Do you have a guitar? Do you like both Coldplay and Lynyrd Skynyrd? Well have we got the product for you.

BandFuse: Rock Legends announced itself yesterday, promising that you'll be able to plug in a real! guitar and play your favourite hits, assuming those hits include both "Harder to Breathe" by Maroon 5 and "Breakin' the Law" by Judas Priest.

The rhythm game comes with an adaptor that you plug into the guitar and an Xbox 360. The game "animates real guitar tablature in a simple and intuitive format allowing you to take your music wherever you go." It also lets players plug in a mike and "sound like a rock legend." A career mode is included.

The game is being developed by Realta Entertainment Group and will be published by Mastiff, the label behind last year's Heavy Fire: Afghanistan and Major League Eating: The Game. It should have been will be released sometime during the Bush administration this year.

Remember more than half the world haven't gotten rocksmith yet thanks to it being american restricted on everything bar a ps3.

ergh, please let this genre die

      Why?

I agree. I remember my bro teitgng Rock Band 2 (Xbox 360) for christmas the year it came out. My mother had to physically DRAG us to the ensuing family festivities. It was so. much. fun. This went on for a few weeks. Then, halfway through the world tour I kind of just stopped caring. I hated the random setlists because I don't like wasting 4 minutes of my life playing a song that I hated ( Smoke on the Water comes to mind, shut up Rock Band made me HATE that song.) A few No Doubt DLC tracks later, I was completely over it. And, let's be honest the songs I really, really love would never make it into the Rock Band store which is kind of a bummer.tl;drgreat post, agree completely, music games are dead. :/

I think FPS's went too mainstream. They should die too.
