This Week In Games

Good job I managed to finish Zelda over the weekend (finally) because new games are hitting stores with the force of a thousand hobo Nick Noltes. This week’s top banana? Well, it depends what tickles your fancy.

Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition (360/PS3/PC)
What is it? Well looky what we have here, the ‘Game of the Year’ edition of New Vegas, only Obsidian/Bethesda has neglected to call it a ‘Game of the Year’ edition on account of the fact it probably didn’t win any game of the year awards.
Should you care? I actually skipped on New Vegas, so I might give this a bash myself.

Grand Slam Tennis (360/PS3)
What is it? Tennis. With Johnny Mac and Pat Cash.
Should you care? Andy Murray.

Kingdoms of Amalur (360/PS3/PC)
What is it? An RPG powered by multipled development heavyweights.
Should you care? Early reviews are positive.

Mario & Sonic at the London Olympics (3DS)
What is it? Imagine Mario and Sonic actually competed at the real Olympics?
Should you care? I don’t really know where I’m going with this.

The Darkness II (360/PS3/PC)
What is it? Sequel to narrative driven shooter The Darkness.
Should you care? Demo was solid, and I like what I’ve seen so far of this. Also — I enjoyed the original.
