Fruit Ninja Kinect hurts my shoulders. And I need my shoulders for doing stuff. That’s pretty much the only reason why I don’t play it everyday, because Fruit Ninja Kinect is actually quite fun. Apparently a lot of people agree, since the game has hit one million downloads since its release.

Who could have know that so many people would want to cleave fruit in twain in so many different ways, across so many different formats? We all know that Fruit Ninja has had gajillions of units on mobile devices, but it’s interesting that so many people have bought the game on Xbox LIVE considering you need an accessory to play it.

Congrats to Halfbrick. Please continue to enjoy all that rolling around on massive piles of money.

  • How many of those were bundled with Gunstringer – or like mine with the Kinect itself. Not detracting from the quality of the game – I do enjoy it – I’m just sceptical about the actual figure.

    • That’s how I got mine. Gunstringer and Fruit Ninja Kinect was more economical for me.

By the way. Playing this with a toy lightsaber is one of the best things ever.

    • Yeah I hung out for the Gunstringer to get it – otherwise I woulda got it on XBLA anyway – it’s really very good – just can’t resist a bargain though!

    • You can get the Gunstringer for under $30 now and this comes free with it! It’s the best Kinect game (and GS is probably the second best IMO, that or Kinect Sports)

  • I got this bundled with Gunstringer. Haven’t redeemed it yet though, because I still haven’t bothered to connect my 360 to the net. Not sure the router’s table for wireless MAC addresses has any space left anyway 😛
