For the last few months, I’ve used this feature to highlight the very best cosplay artists in the world. To the last, each of them produces astonishing work, whether they be costume builders, props makers, photographers and/or models.

None of them, however, can quite match the output of Japanese superstar Omi Gibson.

  • These really amazing cosplayers are talented, but they also just seem like the most boring people in the world. Something about devoting so much time and energy into duplicating someone else’s art has this really odd feeling to me. It’s like people who are really excited about Quicken.

  • The Catherine one’s eyes are freaking me out. Also who is ther purple haired one second from last. My first thoughts were either Konoko from Oni or Major Kusanagi from Ghost in The Shell but the clothing doesn’t seem right for either plus I don’t remember them having red eyes. Guessing it’s something I haven’t played.
