Bastion and Portal 2 seem to have done very well for themselves! awesome.

So.... basically the same as the /v/GAs?

no. . . Deus Ex: Human Revolution won the /v/GA game of the year, and I doubt the Game Developers will go into denial about the existance of the awards soon after. . .

I only just found out about Johann Sebastian Joust ten minutes ago, sounds like an epic game to play with mates, could end in some broken furniture though.

I don't know if it was just a very slow year, but I'm surprised that Portal 2 keeps winning all of these awards.
To me, it was a good game, but was just too similar to Portal, and therefore all the praise seems misplaced. Especially for 'best narrative'.

That game had probably the greatest dialogue I have ever heard in a game, so I can't agree with you there.

I'm too tired to write anything intelligent so I'll settle for "no Deus Ex and no Batman make Homer something something."

    I see MW3 hasn't appeared unlike VGA

No complaints here, looks like they have their minds in the right place.
